Partnership

Financing farmers so they can grow more, and get paid faster.

With Equity Bank Uganda

Seed loans, repaid in grain

Nile Fresh Produce and Equity Bank Uganda have a memorandum of understanding that finances registered farmers with seed loans. Farmers repay at harvest with an equivalent amount of grain.

We also have a three-way agreement with Equity Bank and Ace Global, a collateral manager, so that farmers are paid straight into their bank accounts once their produce is delivered. This makes sure money is always available to buy from farmers.
